School is out and the weather is hot. The deer are having their fawns and vacations are beginning. Summer storms are happening almost every evening. This may be my favorite time of the year.
Verse for the week:
"This is what I command you: love one another"
(John 15:17)
Tip of the week:
When hand sewing, run the thread through a dryer sheet to keep the thread from tangling and knotting.
Annieism:
It is better to let someone else say good things about you; rather than saying them yourself.
A place to visit when you have extra time and just want to relax a little. It contains inspiration, ramblings and odds and ends.

ReplyDeleteToday is Sunday and I'm kicking back at home. I took a walk in the backyard and took a few photos until my battery died. Now I'm back inside where it's cool.
ReplyDeleteI had a real treat for supper this evening, a bologna sandwich. I don't eat them often but I get a craving every now and then.
We had lunch with good friends after church today. Zane and I had meat that wasn't fully cooked and had to send it back. It took a long time for me to get mine and Zane didn't get his until the other couple and I had finished. He cancelled it before they brought it out so they put it in a take out box and he's eating it for supper. The manager apologized and did not charge anything for both our meals plus he prepared a huge warm hot fudge brownie topped with ice cream, with four spoons which we all shared. We shared the dessert not the spoons.
